Set up monitoring and alerting, investigate failures, and fix recurring problems at the root cause
Check backups and test restores for the systems you support
Handle secrets, service accounts, and access in line with security requirements
Document your work so other team members can support and maintain it
Work with developers, IT, and security on network, access, and infrastructure needs
Take part in incident response and follow up on fixes
Requirements:

Strong Linux administration skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems independently
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Comfortable with Git workflows, including branching, merge requests, tagging, and releases
Scripting in Python and/or Bash to automate tasks, with good logging and error handling

Administering self-hosted GitLab and runners
AWS experience (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3), including GovCloud
